A kessa glove is a traditional hammam tool for lifting dead surface cells after cleansing with black soap. The goal is smoother-feeling skin — not redness.
Use light to moderate pressure on damp skin. Focus on rough areas such as arms, legs and back. Skip the face unless a product is specifically made for facial use.
One calm session per week is enough for most people. Over-exfoliating can leave skin dry or sensitive.
After rinsing, apply a nourishing lotion or butter. Pair your glove with Beldi soap, Nila powder and the full hammam ritual when you want the complete sequence.
