A traditional hammam is more than a bath: it is a sequence — cleanse, exfoliate, treat, then moisturize. You can follow the same order in your shower at home.
Step 1: Warm the skin and cleanse with black (Beldi) soap to soften the surface. Step 2: Use a kessa glove with gentle pressure to lift dead skin cells. Do not scrub raw or irritated skin.
Step 3: Apply a body mask or Nila treatment on clean skin, then rinse. Step 4: Seal in comfort with a body lotion or rich butter, especially on dry areas like elbows, knees, and feet.
Consistency matters more than intensity. One calm ritual each week often feels better than aggressive daily scrubbing.
Our Moroccan Hammam Ritual set brings the core steps together so you can shop the sequence in one place.
