Why you will love the Correcting Serum
A clearer and more even-looking complexion
Tranexamic Acid, Kojic Acid, Niacinamide and Nonapeptide-1 work together in a targeted formula developed for visible pigmentation irregularities.
With consistent use, dark spots may appear less noticeable and the complexion looks more balanced, refined and radiant.
Smoother and more refined-looking skin
Mandelic and Lactobionic Acids support gentle exfoliation and surface renewal.
They help remove dull surface cells and can make rough or uneven-looking areas appear smoother and more polished.
Lightweight hydration and skin comfort
Glycerin, Propanediol and Hyaluronic Acid help attract and retain moisture within the upper layers of the skin.
Allantoin complements the formula with soothing and conditioning properties, helping the skin feel soft, comfortable and cared for.
Antioxidant support
Carnosine, Vitamin C and extracts from peach, raspberry, apple, liquorice root and marine algae provide antioxidant and revitalising care.
They help protect the skin from the visible effects of environmental oxidative stress and support a fresher, healthier-looking complexion.
The science behind the Correcting Serum
Tranexamic Acid
Tranexamic Acid is widely used in cosmetic formulations designed to improve the appearance of visible pigmentation irregularities.
It complements Kojic Acid, Niacinamide and Nonapeptide-1 to support a clearer and more balanced-looking skin tone.
Kojic Acid
Kojic Acid is a targeted cosmetic ingredient commonly used in routines for uneven-looking pigmentation.
It helps improve the appearance of dark spots and supports a brighter, more uniform-looking complexion.
Niacinamide
Niacinamide, also known as Vitamin B3, supports the skin’s natural barrier and contributes to a healthier, more refined appearance.
It helps promote a more even-looking complexion while supporting skin affected by visible redness and uneven tone.
Nonapeptide-1
Nonapeptide-1 is a cosmetic peptide used to complement targeted care for visible pigmentation irregularities.
It supports the formula in promoting a clearer, more balanced and luminous-looking complexion.
Mandelic and Lactobionic Acids
Mandelic Acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid, while Lactobionic Acid belongs to the polyhydroxy acid family.
Both support gentle surface renewal, help remove dull skin cells and promote smoother, more refined-looking skin.
Lactobionic Acid also offers moisture-binding properties, making it particularly suitable for balanced exfoliating formulas.
Carnosine and Vitamin C
Carnosine and Ascorbic Acid provide antioxidant support.
They help the skin manage the visible effects of external oxidative stress and contribute to a fresher, more energised appearance.
Liquorice Root and Marine Algae Extracts
Liquorice Root Extract is commonly used to support the care of uneven-looking and sensitive skin.
Marine algae extract complements the formula with conditioning and antioxidant properties, helping the skin appear revitalised.
Peach, Raspberry and Apple Extracts
These selected fruit extracts provide antioxidant and skin-conditioning benefits.
They support the care of dull, tired-looking skin and contribute to a fresher, more radiant appearance.
Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin and Propanediol
These humectants help attract and retain water in the upper layers of the skin.
They support a smoother, plumper and more supple skin feel while balancing the concentrated active formula with additional hydration.
Allantoin
Allantoin provides soothing and conditioning care.
It helps maintain skin comfort and is especially beneficial in routines containing exfoliating or intensive active ingredients.
The visible result
A clearer, smoother and more balanced-looking complexion with refined texture and renewed radiance.
Your daily correcting routine
Morning
Cleanse the face gently with the Balance Foam Cleanser.
Apply the Cell Radiance Essence, if desired, to prepare the skin.
Apply two to three drops of the Correcting Serum.
Add a hydrating or soothing serum if additional support is needed.
Follow with a suitable facial moisturiser.
Finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen.
Evening
Remove makeup and sunscreen thoroughly.
Cleanse the face with the Balance Foam Cleanser.
Apply a toner according to its recommended usage schedule.
Apply two to three drops of the Correcting Serum.
Add another serum selected according to the skin’s needs, if desired.
Finish with a suitable facial moisturiser.
Tip
Consistent sun protection is just as important as active skincare when addressing uneven pigmentation.
UV exposure can make existing dark spots appear more visible and contribute to the development of new pigmentation irregularities.
Apply a generous amount of broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning and reapply during prolonged sun exposure.
Because the Correcting Serum contains Mandelic and Lactobionic Acids, additional exfoliants and intensive acid products should be introduced carefully rather than automatically layered in the same routine.

Complete your correcting ritual
The Correcting Serum delivers its best care as part of a consistent routine designed to support a clearer, smoother and more even-looking complexion.
For a complete ritual, combine it with:
01
Balance Foam Cleanser
02
Cell Radiance Essence
For additional skin preparation and a smoother, fresher and more refined-looking complexion.
Apply after cleansing and before facial serums.
03
Active Exfo-Toner
For targeted exfoliation and a smoother, more refined-looking skin surface.
Because the Correcting Serum already contains Mandelic and Lactobionic Acids, use the Active Exfo-Toner only according to its recommended schedule.
For sensitive skin, apply both products on separate evenings.
04
Another suitable Tazi Care serum
Choose one additional serum from our five facial serums according to your skin’s individual needs and the results you would like to achieve.
This allows you to personalise the routine with targeted care for hydration, soothing, blemish-prone skin or early signs of ageing.
For sensitive skin, begin with the Correcting Serum alone and assess tolerance before introducing further active formulas.
05
Facial moisturiser
06
Hydra Balance Moisturizer
07
PigmentClear Cream
For additional targeted care for uneven-looking tone, visible dark spots and loss of radiance.
Because both formulas contain concentrated active ingredients, introduce the combination gradually. Sensitive skin may benefit from using the Correcting Serum and PigmentClear Cream in separate routines or on alternating days.

Frequently asked questions
The serum is designed for regular use.
For normal skin, begin with one application per day, preferably in the evening. Once the skin has adjusted, it may be used both morning and evening.
For sensitive skin or skin that is not accustomed to exfoliating acids, begin by applying it every second or third evening.
The formula contains moisturising and conditioning ingredients such as Glycerin, Hyaluronic Acid and Allantoin.
However, it also contains Mandelic Acid, Lactobionic Acid, Kojic Acid, Ascorbic Acid, Ethanol and several concentrated active ingredients.
Sensitive or highly reactive skin should therefore begin with a patch test and introduce the serum gradually.
Yes. Broad-spectrum sunscreen is essential when caring for uneven pigmentation.
It helps protect against new UV-related marks and prevents existing discoloration from becoming more visible through sun exposure.
The skin may feel more hydrated and smoother after the first applications.
Visible improvements in dark spots generally require consistent use over several weeks.
The speed of results depends on the type, cause and depth of the pigmentation, as well as regular sunscreen application.
Yes. The Correcting Serum pairs particularly well with hydrating or soothing serums.
Choose an additional serum according to your skin’s needs, such as extra hydration, barrier support or calming care.
For sensitive skin, introduce only one serum at a time before adding further active products.
Both formulas are designed to improve the appearance of uneven tone and may contain overlapping intensive ingredients.
Using them together in the same application is therefore not always necessary.
For a simpler and more balanced routine, alternate between them—for example, use one in the morning and the other in the evening, or apply them on different days.
Combining it with a soothing or barrier-supporting Repair Serum may be beneficial, especially when the skin needs additional hydration and comfort.
Apply the lighter serum first, followed by the richer formula.
Both products may be included within the same overall skincare routine.
However, because the Correcting Serum already contains Mandelic and Lactobionic Acids, the combination should be introduced carefully.
Begin by using the Active Exfo-Toner once or twice per week. Apply the products on separate days if dryness, burning, tightness or redness occurs.
Alternating the products on different evenings may be suitable for resilient skin that is already accustomed to active ingredients.
Do not immediately layer retinoids with the Correcting Serum, as the acids and concentrated ingredients may increase the risk of dryness and irritation.
Introduce both products slowly and use them on separate days, particularly if the skin is sensitive.
The Correcting Serum already contains Niacinamide.
An additional Niacinamide serum is therefore not essential and may make the routine unnecessarily complex.
The serum already contains Ascorbic Acid.
An additional highly concentrated or acidic Vitamin C serum is not necessary and may increase the risk of irritation in sensitive skin.
The Correcting Serum may be included in routines targeting dark marks that remain after blemishes have healed.
Do not apply it to open, injured or severely inflamed areas.
